The 7chan administration will be recreating our Channel7 nightly movie stream and would like the input of our users to tailor this service to their needs.
If you would like to help please fill out this survey and we will adjust the content accordingly.
When new practices are put in place, we will have more regular programming, higher quality video and more varied content.

A) Channel 7 (Channel7, CH7, etc.) is 7Chan's official video stream and 7ChanRadio is 7Chan's official radio stream.

A) To watch Channel7 we recommend opening up http://radio.7chan.org:8000/CH7.m3u with VLC or open http://radio.7chan.org:8000/CH7.ogv in your browser. To listen to the radio, open http://radio.7chan.org:8000/radio.m3u in your media player of choice (but preferably not Windows Media Player).

A) We update the topic of #Channel7 on irc.7chan.org daily, and we plan on making a daily post on /ch7/, and Radio has no set schedule, but we try to stream as often as possible.

Q) Why don't you air 24/7?
A) For Channel7, there simple wouldn't be enough viewers to justify the bandwidth usage, we suffer bandwidth limitations, unfortunately.

Welcome to /ch7/
This board is for discussing Channel7&Radio related things. To see what's happening right now open http://radio.7chan.org:8000 if you only see Channel7, that means nobody is DJing for radio and if there is no Channel7, then it's off-air. For additional information about Channel7/Radio please read the sticky below this. In order to get the 7Chan community as a whole involved with Channel7/Radio, Sazpaimon and deadbabies decided a board would be a good idea for people who aren't interested in IRC to still be able to check out and keep updated with Channel7 and Radio. So, here's our board.
Rules are as follows:

* Stay on topic for what /ch7/ is meant for. Some bleed over from IRC onto this board and vice versa is expected, that's fine. Channel7 has many of it's own memes; this is our chance to share them with other people. Just don't make this board a festering pile of reposts. Afterall, that's what niggertits is for.
* As always CP warrants a ban. Hypocrisy is also banworthy. Don't be an idiot, follow the global rules.
* Channel7 has always been helpful and welcoming to new people. You have a problem getting on IRC or watching the stream, we will help. If you want to be a cunt about it, don't reply. That being said, if you do need help, please do your best to check and see if there's a relevant thread already. Your question may already have been answered, and if not, it keeps all solutions for a given problem in one area.
* Namefagging and tripcoding are encouraged for anyone who plans on posting to the board regularly. If you use IRC, try to use the same name you use there.
* No trolling/flame wars/faggotry.
* As Channel7 itself is NSFW, this board accepts NSFW content that is related, or at least actually funny. This does not mean this is a porn board!

Violation of any of these rules may result in your posts being deleted, a board-specific ban, or a global ban depending.

I just started watching Channel 7 again, and I just have to say, I love you guys. You made me feel a lot less lonely during my freshmen year in college.

Do you think that just for "nostalgia"'s sake, you could put the 28 Weeks Later music up for when it's idle? I used to just open it intermittently and then start watching whatever came on.
